Micah Caporali
Micah Caporali is the supplier diversity program manager at Duquesne Light Company. Micah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance from Liberty University, and he is also a graduate of Waynesburg University where he received an MBA in Project Management.
Micah spent the first 6 years of his career working as a financial analyst in both the public sector with Department of Homeland Security in Washington D.C and in the private sector with Bayer HealthCare in Pittsburgh. In 2013, Micah joined Bayer MaterialScience, now Covestro, as a Procurement Solutions Expert and in 2018, he helped stand up and lead the company’s new supplier diversity program.
With a background in procurement along with his passion for diversity and inclusion, Micah joined Duquesne Light Company in 2020 as the company’s first ever supplier diversity program manager.
Ebony McQueen-Harris
Ebony McQueen-Harris is an advocate, strategist, and thought leader for MWDBE/SDVOB/LGBTQ business enterprises. She has consulted with over 500 diverse businesses and nonprofit organizations helping to create pathways to business sustainability and access to opportunities. Ebony has a Bachelor’s in Communications and a Master’s in Instructional Leadership with experience in Strategy, Business Development, Process Improvement, Project/Program Management, Advocacy, and Community Relations. Ebony is a current cohort member of the 2021 EDGE Women’s Executive Leadership Program. Presently, Ebony manages the UPMC Supplier Diversity & Inclusion Program (SDIP), including its strategies and initiatives, providing strategic direction and guidance for the management of diverse certified business partners and diversity spend, system-wide.
